Hope all of you have enjoyed your weekend and had fabulous crafty time..I made some cards on this weekend and i am super happy the way they turned out,I always love to experiment with limited supplies and try to make more out of it..i did same for this card too. I hand cut the letters and used my camlin brush pens to for coloring ( which are cheaper as compared to other markers)

I stamped the ice cream stick images and colored them with camlin brush pens and then fussy cut it
I hand cut the letter H,E and O and mounted it using foam adhesive dots. For the letter L in HELLO, I used ice cream stick images and adhered it using foam dots.
Added some sequins and my card is ready...

Hello everyone,

Rakshabandhan is one of the indian festivals where sister ties rakhi on the brother's hand and in turn brother promises sister that he will always protect him,it is the symbol of love between brother and sister..I love this festival alot and enjoy making card and rakhi for my brother. This time i have made two simple rakshabandhan cards using No.1bro and sis stampset by Craftyscrappers..This is such a gorgeous stampset and beautifully designed to make cards which you can gift it to your brothers and sisters.

Lets have a look at my first card

1) I took craftyscrappers premium white cardstock  and embossed it with geometrical pattern
2) i stamped the No.1 brother image on the white cardstock and colored it with camlin pencil colors
3) Then i fussy cut the image and adhered it over the embossed background.
4) I stamped the beautiful sentiment on white cardstock and and pasted it over craftyscrappers blue color cardstock and adhered it over embossed background next to the image of the boy
5) Lastly, I adhered the entire panel on craftyscrappers blue color cardstock.

Here are some closeups

Lets have a look at my second card

1) I took white cardstock  as base of my card and dry embossed it.
2) I stamped the image of the boy and colored it with camlin brush pens and fussy cut it.
3) I die cut a circle out of blue cardstock and adhered it over the embossed background.
4) i stamped and fussy cut the sentiment and pasted it over the die cut circle.

Beautiful Stencilled Background Cards- DT post for Craftyscrappers

Hello everyone,

Craftyscrappers has launched beautiful 3D stencils which helps you in creating 3D backgrounds for your cards..I have made two cards using the stencil for my sisters which i am going to give them on the occassion of rakshabandhan.

Here is the pic of my cards

Below is the detailed step by step tutorial

1)

I used Craftyscrappers premium white cardstock and  2 in 1 hexagon stencil ( It contains 2 pieces of stencils)

2)

I placed the First stencil over the cardstock and blended the tubby craft yellow ink.

3)

After that i placed the second stencil over the previously stenciled background and blended tubby craft orange ink

4)

I again placed the second stencil and applied yellow ink and got beautiful 3D background

5)

I stamped the sentiment 'because i have a sister i'll always have a friend' sentiment from the stampset  No#1 bro and sis on a panel of white cardstock and used flower and leaf die cuts and adhered all the elements on stencilled background.
For the second card i used tubby craft aqua blue and sapphire blue inks and went with the same procedure ( light color first then dark and again light)

Here are some close ups

Happy crafting!!
