AECP level 1 - Final Challenge

Image
Hello Friends,  I recently finished all the classes from AECP level 1 by Altenew Academy and now I have been challenged to make a set of cards for him and her as well as the packaging for the cards. Here are the rules for this challenge: 1. Select any 3 components from the classes in Level 1 2. Create two sets of cards, a "His" and a "Hers", to include coordinating gift packaging. 3. Cards need to be a cohesive set for various occasions 4. Incorporate a recycled element, either on the cards or packaging .  I have chosen Three techniques for my cards from all the techniques that I learnt from Altenew classes. -  Clean and Simple boutique cards ( I kept lots of white space on my cards) -  All about Layering ( I used layering stamps and different inks ) -  For the Guys ( I used Geometrical shapes, simple design) There may be other techniques which might have appeared on my cards here and there like Celebrate stencil, Easy Die cutting , Let it Shine etc. Let's get

Hi Friends, How are you all today? I have a floral card to share with you all let's have a look For this card I used Direct to paper inking technique from Irresistible inking techniques lesson 1from AECP level 1 I used Winter roses stamp,Fashion monger dahlia stamp, Summer afternoon inkpads, Checkered squares embossing folder, all by Altenew. I started with stamping the different layers of flowers using summer afternoon inks and then fussy cut the flowers. I then die cut out the circle and embossed it using checkered squares embossing folder. I then used direct to paper inking technique to make the embossing stand out. I then adhered the flowers and leaves on to the embossed circle and then mounted the panel on the white card  base using foam adhesive. Lastly stamped the sentiment. Hope you like it.   Hello Friends, Today I am going to share my card for AAA Birthday Challenge. This monthly challenge now starts on 1st of every month and this time the theme is "Use a Stencil" I love stencilling alot and have collected quite a few stencils over the years. I like to combine them with stamping.  Lets have a look at my take in the theme. I used Bots of love stampset and Cogs and Codes 2 in 1 stencil by Heffy Doodle. I love the way both stamp and stencil complement each other. I stamped those cute robots on alchol markers friendly paper and colored them with Ohuhu alcohol markers. I then fussy cut the images. For background I used Spun sugar and Wilted violet distress oxides along with the cogs and codes stancil. Lastly, added the sentiment. I hope my card inspires you to play along with us.
