Quilling+mix media

hello crafty friends,

Today i am going to share with you all my new project..where i have blended mix media with quilling..i am liking mix media alot now a days and still learning it..so the mists and color sprays are on my wishlist..lol...

here is the pic of my project






I used terracotta pan for the base and applied gesso over it,while applying gesso i mixed slight pink color to give lighter shade of pink.
Took mdf cutout of lovebirds and colored it with purple color and gave it shiny effect with the help of fevicryl golden glitter outliner.and stuck it over the pan.
i made flowers by using pink and blue quilling stripes and adhered them around the love birds
also added quilled leaves and swirls.
