OLC-Thank you

hello friends,

how are you all doing?

I am so much in love with one layer cards and stenciling that i end up making my own stencils and one more card. yes handmade stencils doesn't it sound cool? I like to make projects with whatever supplies i have and try to create my own supplies rather than buying them.I also upcycle some waste material to make cards.
For this card i made flower and leaf stencil by myself, and for the sentiment i used a different technique,i wanted to heat emboss my sentiment but i don't have heating tool so i used pan to emboss my sentiment.

here is the pic of my card

here is the pic of my stencils

I made the flower stencil by punching from flower punch and leaf stencil by handcutting
placed those stencil on cardstock and dabbed the ink. hand drawn the swirls around it,
for sentiment i stamped the thank you sentiment with versamark ink on a piece of vellum and sprinkled the embossing powder and placed it on hot pan and then adhered it on card

hope you all like it!!
happy crafting!!

Just to remind you that this "Stencil" challenge is also a OLC one and you added a layer with the sentiment on the vellum strip. Anyway it is a beautiful card and thank you to share it in the Less is More gallery !

  7. Beautiful, neat and clever stenciling here by creating your own masked images. Superbly CAS with all that white space. As Izzy mentioned our One layer Challenges require that everything is on the card base with no added layers even the mini vellum sentiment. Thanks so much for sharing your card with us at Less is More and hope you'll play along with us again sometime.
