Have a Pawfect Birthday!!
Recently I came across two Challenges with whom I love to play along. Time Out Challenges and MFT sketch challenge.
When I saw Theme of Time out challenges which is Days Gone By. My mind went back where we used to see wedding album of my parents and used to think why the pics are black and white? Also, As so much going on in the surrounding,.(We lost a great young Indian actor Sushant singh Rajput, who took his life and was battling with depression.) I heard so many more such cases and my mind started thinking, In old times when there were no any luxuries like we have today, still the people were close to each other and happy and now a days we have all the luxuries still we are lonely. I tried to put this thought on my card which shows the old times where the moments were bright and colorful but photos used to be black and white.
Lets have a look
I used New Best Friend stamp by MFT and stamped the images on watercolor paper and colored it using Zigs real brush pens. I then covered the panel with vellum and adhered it on Black Card base. I then die cut out the polaroid frame from white cardstock. I stamped one more image of a girl and colored it in black and white tone. I then adhered the image in Polaroid die. lastly, added the sentiment.
I hope you like it!!

I love the thought you put behind this card-so in depth and so wonderful this made you think so deeply. And you sure did get your thinking across in this amazing card. I think it is the vellum that is the perfect touch at getting this across and then adding in the black and white image. I am so pleased out challenge inspired this and Mughda remember you will never be alone-I am a Whatapp or email away! Thanks for joining Time Out xReplyDelete

Well Mugdha I think you captured those thoughts perfectly with your card!! It does seem that even though we have so many ways to be together now days with social media, people are more lonely than ever. We have had a lot of teenagers take their lives recently and it does always worry me with my own children. You did such a great job colouring your image in black and white, really does look like a photo. And having the vellum over the coloured images makes them appear much softer. Stunning card and you know how much we love seeing your cards at TIME OUT!! XxReplyDelete
